Cool shot of one of my favorite locomtives.

According to Gerard Bernet's book First Generation Geeps, this locomotive has had quite a history. It started out life as Delaware, Lackwanna & Western #957. In 1960 with the Erie merger it became EL #1278. With the Conrail merger it initially became #5993. In the 1970s, Conrail upgraded a number of ex-EL geeps to GP-8s. This was one of them and that's when it got the number 5460.

Makes sense. I didn't notice any reporting marks or anything.

The unit was recently acquired by the Delaware Lackawanna Railway and has been shipped to Scranton where it will be restored to (I believe) Lackawanna colors.
