of course they've locked the gates now and i cant get close to her...the last time i got close to her the gate was open for the public.
this ancient nickel plate road berkshire has been resting at this spot since 1955 and hasn't seen a decent overhaul since the mid 70's when the old milwaukee road box car and chicago south shore and south bend caboose was added. although she was repainted in 1997 her looks are a bit ruff again. the local kids have damaged her alot and sometime within the next year me and some local railfans plan on restoring her somewhat if you would like some information or would like to help save her join here finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/NickelPlateRoad624/ hammond indiana sept 24 2006 |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
