That's kind of why I'm surprised the Alco PA in Texas isn't just getting a modern prime mover and electrical cabinet. Yes, it's cool that Doyle McCormack is restoring his PA as authentically as possible, but only the purists really care. I know this railfan would be happy to see another PA running regardless of who built the prime mover.
