although the e9 is pretty much a gp38 with a 645 installed out of a gutted gp38, shes the real star here not the gp38 in the background. Q194's headlight shines onto her nose as it passes by.

That's kind of why I'm surprised the Alco PA in Texas isn't just getting a modern prime mover and electrical cabinet. Yes, it's cool that Doyle McCormack is restoring his PA as authentically as possible, but only the purists really care. I know this railfan would be happy to see another PA running regardless of who built the prime mover. :)
