A CNW E-8 painted in SP "Black Widow" paint lettered for Arizona Eastern, pulling cars from the NYC, ATSF, IC on the Milwaukee Road, under a Pennsy signal bridge. Didn't see that one coming..


I don't like the shadows but every railfan in Chicago turned up here and took the better angles, even though I was the first person to get to Racine.

Rainbow train of sorts. I love the variety. Covered wagons are always a plus. Black Widow is icing on the cake.

IIRC, that first full-length dome from the front was a former MILW dome car that went to Holland America Cruise Line's Westours division in Alaska, which is the livery it seems to continue to wear (even though Westours had long-since replaced that type with scratch-built Rader/Colorado cars).
